11th Annual Woods Bay Regatta
On Monday August 3rd (delayed one day due to foul weather), we held the 11th Annual Woods Bay Sailing, Canoe and Kayak Races. It was another fun event with everyone encouraged to participate.
Despite the rescheduled start date, we had a strong group of supporters, spectators and local paparazzi to view the races from race headquarters at the Sargent cottage. The weekend kicked off on Saturay with the 5th annual pre-race social evening at the Kilgour cottage. Colin Kilgour, our race director won the sailing race, and Jamie Crichton won the canoe/Kayak overall competition. A fun time was had by all.
