WBCA Friends and Family workshop
The WBCA Friends and Family workshop took place last Saturday, August 1st at the Moon Island docks. Three knowledgable teachers from the Georgian Bay Forever Association conducted a workshop for kids on how our watersheds get polluted, the concern about micro plastics in our water, as well as observing microorganisms through microscopes. We had a great turnout with 16 children and 10 adults, who were very engaged in all the activities provided. It was another great hands-on learning experience!
